It was at one of Eli "Paperboy" Reed's first London concerts and we got down the nitty gritty about music and these fellas came up in conversation. I had realized he'd played it recently till my Darlin' Nicci said it was on his last show -- but it's a great album and worthy of the investment of a few quid! Sadly I also found that last Friday was Mark's last show on the BBC. His show was one of the last bastion's of the unusual, eclectic and the roads less travelled in music!

Oh oh I've discovered twitter...well, part of the ever connecting world that I cared little for is there because my granddaughter can tweet....sigh...I love youth!!!! All Time Lows of the past year....

I'm just doing up my list, for another place, another publication, of all time media lows and highs of the past 12 months....what another year gone by...believe me folks they don't go by slower the older you get either...and one of my rants has to be the dim TV execs who have hit on a rich new vein of reality shows that shame women into feeling fat, bad, ugly and need of all matter of re-working! Nice work, TV execs or is that an oxymoronic twist!

Thanks for the cards, the inspiration, the love, the kindness, the constructive thoughts and criticism, the "pass it on" way that good Tumblr'ing works.....you're all the Goddesses and Gawds of Tumblr! I will try in the next year to get around to each of my followers pages...getting harder to do this my second year on here....with the word thousand now being plural in the follower category....but if I don't just know that I believe in "geological" time....not man made time! (grins!)
