Geezer ~ as in diamond geezer - - a good 'solid' reliable person.
At work I had some dealings with juries and at the very beginning of a long trial a young gal dubbed me with a "nickname" that stuck. Over time close comrades in arms and loved ones have shortened it to just Geezer and I ad the old or ol' to fit my Dickensian feelings about myself and age. Love to yahs all now

Oh That Shirt....
....thanks for all the fun feedback on the "shirt" of infamy! It's my Al Hirt phase shirt...I bought a truly flagrant and flamin' shirt in New Orleans (pronounce N'Awlins) at the first Jazz Fest I attended there for the first time in the mid-80's but it died a sad death at the hands of American Airlines. But in 1998 I copped the one seen in the recent "snaps" of me with Sir Richard Flohil -- it's got lovely red beans and rice comin' atcha hell even the buttons are little red kidney beans in wood.....so thanks for all the smiles all ye Tumblr Goddesses and Gawds
