Remedios Varo  “The Calling”  (1961) - fine artist indeed and in the circle of Frida Kahlo, Giorgio de Chirico, even Max Ernst.
The keenest vision in the dark is required
it’s only a week from you but already you are slipping away
like a receeding shoreline from a racing boat
postcards, a phone call or two, five texts, one email late in the evening
and you’re gone into a place called “Ended Loves History”
It’s like never having seen you now
except in the tiniest of fragments of other friends lives. ~ PDv Morris
