Said I Wasn’t Gonna Tell Nobody ~ The Abyssinian Baptist Gospel Choir

It’s Sunday and I’ve been reading a lifetime of letters from my Mum to me.  There are over 100 of them and I’m only up to the time I was 15 and ran away to join the Beatnik circus…..it’s funny what one remembers as being silly and a parent finds heart wrenching to the core….sorry Mum but she always used to smile and say that my love of Gospel music meant I wasn’t the pagan I claimed to be!  So here is one that is the Sunday Service selection from the Flimwell Papers’ Music Corner.  It does as it says on the label — shake the rafters…and chickenskin y’all too!  Cheers and peace.
