Aretha Franklin ~ I Say A Little Prayer


Often we think of Burt Bacharach on such great tunes as this gem of a song. But there was a very formidable writer at work here, Hal David, a feat he repeated more than 40 times in their time as one of America’s most successful song writing

 duo. No, for me, Hal David was part of the genius that made these songs timeless and brilliant as well as the soundtrack for a life. RIP Mr. Hal David thank you so much for the music….so very, very much for the words!
