Theme From Twin Peaks-Fire Walk With Me ~ Angelo Badalamenti & Thought Gang 

The brief calls for a soundtrack or Jazz feature on Sundays around here and while pensive and deep in thought over my porridge this morn, I came upon this wonderful soundtrack from just two years ago.  I remember when I first heard I thought they’d found some old Miles Davis tracks somewhere…then I realized that ever the magpie Mr. Badalamenti was at work along with heavy steering from Mr. Lynch.  Ever evocative of somewhere else and another time, this piece works best of all the tracks, it’s just oh so foreboding, dark and deep as a young girls heart too.  Sop it be the Sunday Soundtrack of our Lives selection from the Flimwell Papers’ Music Corner.  Peace, y’all!
