After The Gold Rush ~ The King Singers
I attended a funeral today of a London pal and it was all a rather jolly affair. There was music, pub grub and drinks including some nice cider….then the little urn my old china’r was …well was in was brought into the room by his wife, a young artist from Japan, and dear Mick Kagata was propped up on the bar…..a final song was played…At first I thought The Kings Singers singing a Neil Young (iconic) song was a bit of a stretch. However it worked so well and fitted my dear pal Mick’s sense of life, love and art! It’s the Sunday For Remembering selection from the Flimwell Papers’ Music Corner!
