All unnecessary weight is eliminated… . Even the brain cells needed for song are lost and replaced seasonally in some birds. ~  Birds of North America, p. 63 The fall from heaven or the escape flight from hell both leave us drifting in time and lost  as stone tears are shed  night is turned fog by stone eyes filled with dirt tears mouths cupped by our kisses to each as they pass along the corridors of nearly nowhere     photog: Alexander Binder  both an amigo of the Flimwell Papers and one whose work we have hanging our photographs drawing room.  Interesting fact about Herr Binder he was born on Halloween in Germany’s Black Forest, it’s not really much of a surprise that photographs turn to the dark element of our lives!

both leave us

drifting in time and lost 

as stone tears are shed 

night is turned fog

by stone eyes filled with dirt tears

mouths cupped by our kisses to each

as they pass along the corridors of nearly nowhere
